Traverse City resident Fran Wilson blows out a birthday cake celebrating her 92nd birthday and the 92nd birthday of downtown Traverse City's iconic State Theatre. Wilson was born on March 17, 1916 and the State Theatre opened July 4, 1916. Wilson saw her first movie at the venue when it was called the Lyric Theatre. She watched Bad Girl in 1931.
