After coming to town on a horse-drawn sleigh, Santa received a key to the city from Traverse City Mayor Pro-Tem, Chris Bzdok. Hundreds turned out to watch the jolly old elf light the 30-foot Douglas fir donated from the Northwestern Michigan College University Center campus.
