I took this shot of East Bay from the base of Old Mission Peninsula at 8:45
am on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2007. I used my Fuji FinePix 6900 digital camera, at f5.6 and 1/320 sec. The interplay of the open water against the ice, and the sun burning through the cloud cover is what this time of the year is about.
