Mike Fitzpatrick, of Traverse City, walks along Union Street in rainy conditions Thursday, October 31, 2013 in downtown Traverse City. The Traverse City area could see an inch or more of additional rainfall tonight into Friday morning, a meteorologist said. Mike Boguth of the National Weather Service in Gaylord said up to 1.25 inches of additional rain could fall by this morning. "The heaviest rain is yet to come," Boguth said. "Some really steady, soaking rains. There is definitely a chance of a rumble of thunder." A gale wind warning is also in place for Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
