NMC INNOVATION CENTER
Sydney Lasich, left, and Anthony Diaz, right, sit at a table inside West Hall on Northwestern Michigan College's campus on Monday morning. The two first-year students gather in the hall nearly every day to share a ride home. "This is kind of our meet-up spot," Diaz said, "This is home base to us." West Hall, which was built in 1964, will be renovated into the college's Innovation Center with 13,000 square feet being renovated and 25,000 square feet added on.
