Rising property assessments pleased Seth and Lauren Rousseau because it means the value of their Blair Township home has increased. The Rousseaus, their 8-year-old daughter Lauryn and their two dogs moved into the area two years ago. Township officials credit the renewed interest of young home buyers in the township with reversing a four-year decline in property values.
