Carisa Butler received Margo, left, as a Christmas gift in 2008, but has been riding and showing horses most of her life. She recently saved her money to have Margo bred, and now plans to raise and train Crystal, her filly, by herself. "I wanted to have a horse I could grow up with and train myself," she said.
