Construction continues on the new 5-story mixed use building known as 101 North Park at the corner of East Front and Park streets in downtown Traverse City. The building will include retail and office space and residential units, with an estimated development cost of more than $17 million, developer Thom Darga said. Portions of the building will be ready for occupancy July 1, he said.

The duo of Lynn Koch and Kristen Tait played a variety of songs on more than 30 different percussion instruments during the Traverse Symphony Orchestra family concert. The next TSO free family concert will feature a performance of “Peter and the Wolf” at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at the City Opera House. Preconcert activities begin at 2:30 p.m.
