Students compete in a Skills USA residential wiring competition at the Traverse City TBA-ISD Career Tech Center. The students are required to install a functional electrical system as they would in a home, with master electricians judging the work on neatness, whether the work meets code, if it works and if it is installed correctly. The top three will travel to Lansing in April for state competition.
