Description: Several women in my family took my mother, Shirley Goodrich, (as a gift for her 79th birthday) to what we thought was to be the last regular season Tiger game in Detroit. This was something she's really wanted to do for quite awhile. The game was great and the Tigers won, but she was not able to meet Brandon Inge as she had hoped. However, something else happened that made the day pretty memorable. Two of my nieces (one who currently lives in TC and one who used to live in TC) were sitting next to each other and both caught foul balls! Andrea Goodrich Gastmier, left, age 29, formerly of TC who now teaches kindergarten for South Lake Schools in St. Clair Shores, caught Magglio Ordonez's in the first inning and her cousin, Jenn Goodrich, right, age 19 and currently an NMC student, caught Ryan Rayburn's in the eighth!
