Replica sloop the The Welcome became part of the Maritime Hertiage Alliance in 1992. The Welcome is Replica of a British ship built in 1774, to serve in a fleet of trading vessels. It last Later used in the Seven Year's war from 1756-1763. British military bought the ship in 1778 and converted it to an armed sloop.
